The Seattle Seahawks are losing a key cog in their offensive line this offseason, as guard Mike Iupati announced his retirement. While there are plenty of rock-solid options available in free agency, Seattle may have to get a bit creative financially.

The Seahawks have about $14 million in space, per Spotrac, though there are a few key contributors they'll have to re-sign this offseason. With that in mind, here are three players Seattle can target in free agency to replace Iupati.

3. Kelechi Osemele, G, Kansas City Chiefs

In his heyday, Kelechi Osemele was one of the best guards in the NFL. He was a Pro Bowler as recently as 2017. But injuries and age have taken their tole on the 31-year-old, and he was limited to just five games in 2021. That should mean he's available on the cheap, though. He'd be an excellent low-risk, high-reward signing for GM John Schneider.

2. Lane Taylor, G, Green Bay Packers

Lane Taylor has been in and out of the lineup over the past two seasons, but he's received great marks from PFF when he has seen the field. And the last time we saw him play a full season (2018), Taylor had a rock-solid 66.0 overall grade from PFF. Likely to come at a discount, the 31-year-old could be a steal for the Seahawks.

1. Joe Thuney, G, New England Patriots

Brandon Scherff is the crown jewel of the 2021 free-agent guard class, but he's probably out of Seattle's price range. That might apply to Joe Thuney as well, but he figures to be a lot cheaper than Scherff – even if he's also a bit unrealistic. Thuney is one of the most reliable guards in the business. He almost never misses a snap and has received an overall grade of at least 73.5 from PFF in four straight seasons. If the Seahawks can work it out financially, Thuney could transform this O-Line.
