Tony Bennett knew that he was going to have one of the best defensive guards in college basketball when Reece Beekman opted to return to Virginia last spring after flirting with the 2023 NBA Draft.

Beekman, though, may have company.

Enter Georgetown transfer Dante Harris.

"He's one of the better on-ball defenders that we've had," Bennett said of the 6-foot Harris on this week's episode of the College Hoops Today Podcast. "He brings some legitimate quickness, too, when he's on the ball on offense, and he can touch the paint when he's off the ball."

Harris had seven points and three rebounds in Monday night's win over Tarleton State.

Virginia --- who is currently ranked 38th in the ROTHSTEIN 45 --- will next play Florida on Friday in Charlotte.
