Jordan Hawkins Out for New Orleans Pelicans Due to Low Back Spasms

Jordan Hawkins will not play for the New Orleans Pelicans against the Charlotte Hornets on March 30, 2025, due to low back spasms. This is not the first time Hawkins has dealt with back issues, as he was previously listed with a lumbar spine annular fissure in December 2024.

In the current season, Hawkins has played 56 games and has averaged 10.8 points per game. With Hawkins out, CJ McCollum and Bruce Brown may see increased roles in the shooting guard position. The Pelicans have struggled without Hawkins, winning only 2 of 18 games when he is inactive.
