Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets at a Glance

  • Cade Cunningham Over 24.5 Points (-108)
  • Isaiah Hartenstein Over 10.5 Points (+102)
  • Victor Wembanyama Over 11.5 Rebounds (-122)

Monday's NBA slate features 15 games, creating plenty of opportunities to find value in the NBA player prop market.

I'm targeting three props tonight that stand out based on current-season production, recent usage and the matchups in front of them.

NBA Prop Bets for Today: Best NBA Props

Cade Cunningham Over 24.5 Points (-108)

Detroit Pistons at Charlotte Hornets — 7:30 p.m. ET

Cade Cunningham - Points

Cade Cunningham Over
Nov 3 12:40am UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

I'm backing Cade Cunningham over 24.5 points. Cunningham is averaging 22.2 points per game through six contests, but he's already shown he can clear this number against Charlotte after scoring 30 points in Detroit's win over the Hornets on Oct. 28.

The Detroit Pistons‘ guard has scored at least 26 points in two of his last three games while averaging 33.5 minutes per game this season. He's also attempting 16.7 shots per game, giving him a strong volume floor, and Charlotte has already shown it can struggle to contain his scoring.

With Detroit entering at 5-1, I expect Cunningham to remain heavily involved as the Pistons look to continue their strong start.

Isaiah Hartenstein Over 10.5 Points (+102)

Oklahoma City Thunder at Cleveland Cavaliers — 7:00 p.m. ET

Isaiah Hartenstein - Points

Isaiah Hartenstein Over
Nov 3 12:10am UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

Isaiah Hartenstein over 10.5 points at +102 catches my eye.

Hartenstein is averaging 9.5 points per game this season, but his scoring has increased with Chet Holmgren unavailable as he's averaging 11.7 points per game without Holmgren in the lineup.

Hartenstein has also scored at least 10 points in three of his last four games, including 15 points against Phoenix and 12 against the Clippers.

Cleveland is allowing opponents to score efficiently around the basket, which is important for Hartenstein because the vast majority of his offense comes from close range. With Oklahoma City also missing several key rotation pieces, Hartenstein should have another opportunity to stay on the floor and contribute offensively, and his defense should be needed versus the Cavs’ bigs.

Victor Wembanyama Over 11.5 Rebounds (-122)

Utah Jazz at San Antonio Spurs — 8:30 p.m. ET

Victor Wembanyama - Rebounds

Victor Wembanyama Over
Nov 3 1:40am UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

I'm targeting Victor Wembanyama over 11.5 rebounds. Wembanyama is averaging 10.7 rebounds per game this season, but he's already gone over this number twice in five games, including a 14-rebound performance against Utah — tonight’s foe — on Oct. 27.

He grabbed 14 rebounds in 39 minutes against the Jazz in that previous meeting.

Wembanyama is also averaging 32.2 minutes per game and has recorded at least 10 rebounds in three of his last five contests, giving him a strong opportunity to clear 11.5 in what should be a favorable matchup for him (and the Spurs as a whole).

NBA Player Prop Bets FAQ

What are NBA player prop bets?

NBA player prop bets are wagers on specific statistical outcomes for individual players during a game — independent of which team wins or loses. You might bet on how many points a star guard scores, whether a big man grabs 10 or more rebounds, or how many assists a point guard dishes out.

What types of NBA player props are available?

FanDuel offers an extensive menu of NBA props. The most common categories include:

  • Points — over/under on a player's scoring total
  • Rebounds — over/under on total boards (offensive + defensive)
  • Assists — over/under on dimes dished
  • Three-pointers made — over/under on made threes
  • Points + rebounds + assists (PRA) — combined stat total for those three stats
  • Double-double or triple-double — yes/no prop on achieving the milestone

How do NBA player prop odds work?

NBA props use the standard American (moneyline) odds format. A negative number indicates how much you must wager to profit $100, while a positive number shows the profit on a $100 bet.

  • -115 odds — bet $115 to win $100
  • +115 odds — bet $100 to win $115
  • -200 odds — bet $200 to win $100

What is a points prop bet in the NBA?

A points prop is a bet on whether a specific player will score over or under a set total. For example, a line might read: LeBron James — Points — Over 24.5 (-110).

Key factors to research before betting points props include the player's recent scoring form, the opposing team's defensive rating and points allowed to their position, pace of play, and how many minutes the player is likely to play.

What is a PRA prop bet for NBA?

PRA stands for Points + Rebounds + Assists — a combined stat prop that totals all three categories into one number. For example, a Nikola Jokic PRA line might be set at 49.5.

PRA props are popular for versatile players because their contributions span multiple statistical categories. They're less volatile than single-stat props since a slow scoring night can be offset by a strong rebounding or passing game.
