Bears vs Seahawks Player Props, Picks for Monday Night Football
Under 46.5 Points (-110)
Total Points
The under is my favorite bet of the night because Seattle's defense has been extremely difficult to move the ball against.
The Seattle Seahawks rank first in the NFL in total defense and passing defense while the Chicago Bears rank third in total offense but have also been among the league's most run-heavy teams.
Chicago is averaging 391 yards per game and leads the NFL in time of possession at 35:30 per game, which can shorten the game and limit overall possessions.
Seattle also just held Kansas City’s offense to three points, making 46.5 a high enough number to target the under.
Luther Burden III Under 51.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Luther Burden III - Receiving Yds
Luther Burden III has been one of Chicago's most efficient offensive weapons, but this is a difficult matchup for him.
Burden has 35 catches for 491 yards and two touchdowns through seven games, averaging 70.1 receiving yards per game, but Seattle ranks first in the NFL against the pass. The Seahawks have also allowed just 343.3 total yards per game, and Chicago's preference to establish the run should make it difficult for Burden to reach 52 receiving yards.
His 51.5-yard line gives us some room to work with against a defense that has allowed only 168.9 passing yards per game.
Seahawks Moneyline (-174)
Moneyline
Seattle's defense is the biggest difference-maker in this matchup, with the unit ranking first in total yards allowed and passing yards allowed while also recording eight interceptions, tied for the second-most in the NFL.
Sam Darnold has thrown for 1,290 yards and eight touchdowns through seven games while Seattle's offense has another potential boost with Zach Charbonnet returning to the lineup. It’s also a great matchup for the Seahawks’ O as Chicago has allowed the most yards per play (6.3) on defense.
Chicago is certainly capable of winning outright, but Seattle's home-field advantage and matchups on both sides of the ball give the Seahawks enough of an edge to justify the -174 moneyline.
