The Green Bay Packers will look to extend their winning streak to eight games in a row when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a Week 9 matchup.

Week 9 NFL Fantasy Picks

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 9 matchup. FanDuel Sportsbook is projecting a Chiefs win, with Kansas City currently listed as the 7.5-point favorite.

Aaron Jones Fantasy

Start Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers: With Aaron Rodgers out of the game with COVID-19, the Packers could lean on Aaron Jones. He's the RB5 in PPR formats and gets a matchup against a Chiefs defense that's surrendering the 14th-most fantasy points per game (21.9) to running backs this season. Even if the Packers fall behind, Jones is averaging 6.7 targets per game over his last three outings and has made 16 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown during that span. An inexperienced QB in Jordan Love plus an abysmal Kansas City defense points to a promising night for Jones.

Darrell Williams Fantasy

Start Darrell Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs: Darrell Williams enters Week 9 coming off of a performance that saw him record 19 touches for 110 total yards from scrimmage against the New York Giants. While backup RB Derrick Gore had a solid showing, Williams still played 64% of offensive snaps. Now, he's going head-to-head with a Packers team allowing 4.7 yards per carry — the fourth-highest average in the NFL. With the Chiefs projected to win, Williams might be needed to help run out the clock later in the game, which could be a boon for fantasy managers.

Allen Lazard Fantasy

Sit Allen Lazard, WR, Green Bay Packers: Allen Lazard caught eight passes over his last two games for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns. However, a stint on the COVID-19 list forced him to miss last week's game. Now, instead of having Rodgers throwing him the ball, Lazard has to rely on Love. We haven't seen the 23-year-old QB play since his college days, so it's hard to gauge what to expect on Sunday. Nevertheless, Lazard failed to record more than 5.3 points in PPR in his first four games of the season. It's hard to recommend starting him.

Mecole Hardman Fantasy

Sit Mecole Hardman, WR, Kansas City Chiefs: It seems like every week that Mecole Hardman has a chance for a breakout performance, fantasy managers are left wanting more. While he has 24 receptions for 245 yards in his last five games, he hasn't hit the end zone since Week 3. Even though the Chiefs defense has left a lot to be desired this season, they've still held wide receivers to the 12th-fewest fantasy PPG (28.6). In theory, the third-year wideout should be a bigger contributor in the Chiefs offense, however, his inconsistencies make him a hard man to trust.
