The New England Patriots 2019 campaign certainly didn't go as planned. While a first-round playoff exit and a 12-4 record would be considered a successful season by most standards, it had a disastrous effect on the roster.

There was an exodus of talent on the defensive side of the ball, and Tom Brady left to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Part of the reason for his departure was a lackluster supporting cast, and few plays illustrated that more than this brutal hit delivered by Lorenzo Carter.

He just never saw him coming. After the fumble, Markus Golden scooped up the ball for the defensive touchdown.

Carter would finish 2019 with a solid campaign, turning in 4.5 sacks, 13 QB hits and 6 tackles for loss. But none of those were quite as impressive this strip sack on Tom Brady.
