Few players have received as much offseason hype as Kyler Murray. It's not hard to understand why, either. The reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year looks primed to make a serious leap in his sophomore season, as he'll be getting another year in Kliff Kingsbury's innovative system and the Arizona Cardinals have added talent like DeAndre Hopkins.
Murray released a pretty awesome workout video, but believe it or not, getting a first glimpse of him and Hopkins working out together is not the story here. That's because Murray looks drastically different than he did last season.
For one, like many of us stuck in quarantine, Murray has really let that beard grow out. He also looks much stockier than he did last season. But unlike many of us stuck in quarantine, it's fair to assume that's some added muscle rather than the result of one-too-many snacks.
And Cardinals fans will surely love getting an early glimpse of Murray working out with his skill-position group, especially star wideouts like Hopkins and Christian Kirk.
Hopefully, his new look doesn't change his play much, though, because if Murray continues on this trajectory he seems poised for a really special campaign in 2020.
