The Carolina Panthers have been providing fans with a detailed behind-the-scenes look at key moments this offseason through a web series. One episode focused on NFL Draft night and revealed what the Minnesota Vikings offered the team in a proposed trade for the Panthers' No. 8 pick.

Another clip from the series has surfaced and it focuses on free agency, giving viewers insight into Carolina's negotiations with tight end Dan Arnold.

This video is an intriguing look at contract talks between a franchise and agent that most fans don't get to see before a deal is actually announced. It features Panthers salary cap manager Samir Suleiman and Arnold's agent going back-and-forth on what they consider is a "fair" deal for the tight end.

Carolina is shown offering a two-year contract for $4 million, which Arnold's agent pushes back on and goes into why his client is worth more after being one of the Arizona Cardinals' top weapons in 2020.

Eventually the two sides settled on two years for $6 million. It's cool to see how the negotiations in this clip led to a deal that both sides should be happy with.
