3 Most Likely Benardrick McKinney Free-Agent Destinations

The Miami Dolphins made a surprise roster move on Monday. The organization released linebacker Benardrick McKinney, who the Dolphins had acquired from the Houston Texans earlier this offseason.
Playing four games for Houston last year, McKinney racked up 37 tackles 1 pass defended and 1 tackle for loss. When healthy, the 28-year-old can still get it done.
Now that he's a free agent, here are three most likely destinations for McKinney this offseason.
3. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs have tried to beef up their linebacking corps through the draft. But adding a talent like McKinney could go a long way. A former Pro Bowler in 2018, he could be an excellent mentor for Willie Gay Jr. and rookie Nick Bolton.
2. Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are awfully thin at linebacker, especially now that Jacob Phillips is expected to miss the entire year. It looks like the team is going to be asking a lot of second-round pick Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. Putting that much on a rookie's plate is a risk for any team, but it's especially risky for a team with Super Bowl aspirations like Cleveland. Adding McKinney could be a way to help lighten JOK's load, and add some depth to a group that could really use some.
1. Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are very thin at linebacker as well. It looks like the team will primarily be using Krys Barnes and De'Vondre Campbell at LB this season. McKinney feels like he'd be an upgrade over what Green Bay has currently, and he'd also help give this team some added depth. This would be a great fit for both parties.
