The Houston Astros have the best record in Major League Baseball with a 104-55 record, heading into play on Friday night.
With a two-game lead over the New York Yankees in the American League and one game ahead of the NL-leading Los Angeles Dodgers, the Astros have the best odds to win the 2019 World Series, at +200, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

With three games to play and two games in hand, the Astros have all but clinched the top seed in the AL. Houston has been the favorite to win the World Series for some time now, with the Dodgers (+270) and Yankees (+400) consistently sitting in the two and three spots.
Beyond that is the NL East champion Atlanta Braves, at +800, and the AL and NL Central winners, the Minnesota Twins and St. Louis Cardinals, both with +1600 odds.

The Oakland Athletics (+1900), Washington Nationals (+2000) and Milwaukee Brewers (+2500) round out teams with 25-to-1 or better odds and will all be taking part in Wild Card games. The Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Indians are still vying for the second AL Wild Card spot and have +2700 and +3100 odds to win the World Series, respectively.
Once all playoff seeding is clinched, these odds likely won't shift again. That is, until the 2019 MLB postseason finally gets underway.
