Mark Andrews Fantasy Outlook Points to Continued Top-12 Production as Lamar Jackson's Top Target

A lot of players remain underrated in the fantasy football world, but Mark Andrews has an argument to be at the top of that list. The Baltimore Raven has quickly become a very productive tight end and heads into the fall looking to repeat his past performances as quarterback Lamar Jackson's top target.

Mark Andrews Fantasy Value
Andrews has finished as top-6 tight end or better in PPR leagues in each of the last two seasons and there is no reason he can't make it three in a row. The fourth-year pro is looking to build off a 2020 campaign in which he hauled in 58 of his 88 targets for 701 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Most importantly, Andrews is still Jackson's go-to target in the passing game. The 25-year-old ranked No. 1 on the Ravens averaging 50.1 yards per game and led all receivers with 17 red zone targets last season. His ability to get into the end zone is a major advantage in fantasy football.
Andrews was able to give fantasy managers consistent production despite Jackson's struggle to throw the ball well in 2020 (183.8 passing yards per game). Head coach John Harbaugh has expressed that the team is interested in working more passing plays into the playbook.
The one concern fantasy managers should have with Andrews is his health. He gets banged up on the field quite a lot and has reportedly been dealing with intense cramps and dehydration during training camp. As long as he stays healthy, Andrews is a great player to roster.
Mark Andrews ADP
Andrews has an average draft position of 50.8 overall and No. 5 amongst TEs in PPR leagues, according to FantasyPros. He is locked in for another top-12 season and could easily post top-3 numbers in the best case scenario. It would be smart to grab a capable backup just in case, though.
Andrews checks in at TE6 in The Duel's 2021 fantasy football rankings.
