The Kansas City Chiefs' running backs haven't had much of an impact in the postseason. Rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire has just 7 yards on 6 carries. Darrel Williams has 130 yards on 26 carries, and Le'Veon Bell has 6 yards on two carries.
Bell and Edwards-Helaire have both been banged up, however. CEH was able to return in the AFC Championship, but Bell was not.
Le'Veon Bell Injury Update
The latest Chiefs injury update points to Le'Veon Bell returning to action in time for Super Bowl LV, meaning this backfield may finally be fully healthy as they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Bell has been nursing a knee injury, and made it through just 11 snaps in the AFC Divisional Round matchup against the Cleveland Browns before being forced to miss the AFC Championship.
Le'Veon Bell Fantasy
Even if Bell does play, you're not going to want to target him in Super Bowl fantasy football. Pre-injury he was serving as the team's RB2 behind Darrel Williams, and with Edwards-Helaire also getting healthy, Bell will likely be relegated to the RB3 role in an offense that would rather pass than run. Not exactly ideal conditions for fantasy scoring.
Bell and the Chiefs are 3-point favorites over the Bucs, according to Super Bowl odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.
