Detroit Lions superstar wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hip) left the team's Week 9 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was initially listed as questionable, but he was ultimately ruled out soon after.

Getting ruled out that quickly is rarely a good sign. If Golladay is set to miss any extended period of time, Marvin Jones Jr. would instantly get a huge boost in fantasy value.

Marvin Jones Jr. Fantasy Outlook

Jones hasn't done much of anything this season, as he's been held under double-digit PPR points in four of his six appearances this season. But he's coming off arguably his most productive game of the season in Week 7, turning 6 targets into 80 receiving yards and 5 catches.

He has also been pretty productive in Week 8 without Golladay, turning 5 targets into 39 yards and 2 TDs.

Jones played two games without Golladay already this season, and he had some really encouraging usage. The Lions' No. 2 wide receiver averaged 7.0 targets per game in that time, compared to the 4.0 targets per game he's averaged across the four games since Golladay came back.

Jones will be on the WR3 radar as long as Golladay is out, so it'll be important to monitor the Lions' practice reports throughout the week.
