Kenny Golladay's season is not starting as fantasy managers hoped it would. A late-week hamstring injury called his Week 1 availability into question yesterday, and it seems as if fantasy managers aren't going to like the answer.

The Detroit Lions have officially listed Golladay as doubtful, making him a long shot to suit up on Sunday.

Kenny Golladay Fantasy Outlook

Even if Golladay does manage to suit up, he's probably not going to be worth starting. He's facing a Chicago Bears' defense that ranked No. 10 overall in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metrics in 2019. If he's on a snap count or limited in any way, it'll be difficult to trust him – though with the "doubtful" tag there's a chance he doesn't suit up at all.

It's a tough break, but fantasy managers should be looking to their bench for a replacement.

Marvin Jones Jr. Fantasy Outlook

One such option is Marvin Jones Jr., whose fantasy outlook will skyrocket if Golladay can't suit up. Jones was actually neck and neck with Golladay when Matthew Stafford was healthy last year.

Jones racked up 535 yards and 6 TDs over the eight games Stafford played, while Golladay was at 640 yards and 7 touchdowns. Golladay still had the edge, but Jones kept it closer than he was given credit for.

With Stafford looking fully healthy, Jones should see plenty of targets if Golladay can't suit up in Week 1.
