George Kittle Injury Update Boosts His Week 4 Fantasy Outlook

Like many teams this season, it has been a roller coaster ride of emotions for the San Francisco 49ers. They are currently 2-1, but have already lost a long list of stars due to injury. Here was last week's report before the road victory over the New York Giants.

Possibly the most important name on that list is tight end, George Kittle. This offense does not run the same without him, and although they were able to destroy both New York franchises (two of the worst teams in football) on the road, Kittle's absence will be more noticeable against a more talented opponent.
George Kittle Injury Update & Fantasy Outlook
Last night around 6:30 p.m., 49ers fans and fantasy managers everywhere finally received positive news on Kittle.

This is obviously huge, as the tight end was a full go in practice the day before with zero setbacks. Now Kittle eyes a Sunday Night Football return in a primetime matchup against the struggling Philadelphia Eagles. Not only are the Niners home favorites in this one, but this is a secondary that Kittle could easily exploit.
The Eagles are ranked 22nd against the tight end position after three weeks, according to ESPN Fantasy, and they didn't exactly play anyone of Kittle's caliber yet. Logan Thomas, Tyler Higbee, Drew Sample. Outside of maybe Higbee, these aren't really household names.
Kittle had four receptions for 44 yards before leaving the game Week 1. He will look to build on that performance as he retakes the field in Week 4.
