Chris Paul is one of the best point guards in NBA history. Even if he retired today, almost every NBA fan would have him in their top-five of all time.

The thing is, Paul is still going, and he's still playing some incredible basketball with the Phoenix Suns. On Tuesday night he turned in another vintage Chris Paul performance, which landed him another career milestone.

Paul had 21 points, 8 rebounds and 15 assists in Tuesday night's game, and those 21 points made him surpass the 21,000 career-points milestone.

Paul now sits in 38th place on the all-time career points list. He could realistically move up to 34th by the end of this season, passing the likes of Larry Bird, Gary Payton and Clyde Drexler, some of the greatest to ever do it. What makes tis even crazier is, Paul is a pass-first point guard. Sure, he can clearly scoring when he needs to, but his goal has always been running the offense and setting up his teammates.

The evidence to that is, he currently sits in third on the career assists list, behind only Jason Kidd and John Stockton. While he might catch Kidd, Stockton leads Kidd by nearly 4,000 assists, a record that may never get approached.
