Fantasy football drafts are about seven months away, but if you're all about this lifestyle, there's no such thing as an offseason from research. This leads us to a fascinating stat that'll certainly have your eyes drifting towards the Kansas City Chiefs' backfield this season.

Andy Reid's offenses with the Philadelphia Eagles and Chiefs have always been potent units. But it's quite incredible he has been able to produce a Top-16 running back in 16-of-his-20 seasons as a head coach.

It's even more impressive that Kareem Hunt finished as the 12th-best running back in Yahoo! PPR fantasy football leagues last year – that's with a slow start and missing the final five games due to suspension.

Reid's success with running backs dates back to elite talent under his wing, with the likes of Brian Westbrook, Jamaal Charles and Duce Staley. All of them benefitted from Reid's innovative ability to dial up world-class screen passes.

Damien Williams showed at the end of last season this is a "system-over-superstar" situation for running backs under Reid. If the Chiefs do decide he's the one to handle backfield duties next season, you certainly want to have some exposure to Williams in 2019 fantasy football leagues.
