The Denver Nuggets took a 2-1 series lead over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals on Wednesday night, winning the game by a score of 109-94 thanks to triple-double performances from both Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic. The standout play of their star duo helped the Nuggets take a 2-1 series lead.

The Heat were able to keep Game 3 close for the most part but were unable to steal a single quarter away from the visiting Nuggets. They’ll look to even the series up before it heads back to Denver for Game 5.

Game 4 tips off at 8:30 p.m. Eastern on Friday on ABC.

Nuggets vs. Heat Game 4 Analysis

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic were certainly the stars of the show for the Nuggets in Denver's 15-point Game 3 win, but the team has also benefitted from standout performances from their bench players in each of their wins so far this series.

While Bruce Brown Jr. stepped up off the bench in Games 1 and 2, Christian Braun delivered the goods on Wednesday night. Braun racked up 15 points in 19 minutes off the bench, also nabbing 4 rebounds.

The Heat played solid ball for much of Wednesday night’s game, committing just 4 turnovers as a team -- tied for the second-fewest all-time in an NBA Finals game. Unfortunately, Miami just couldn’t get their three-pointers to fall, with Jimmy Butler, Max Strus, and Gabe Vincent going a combined 3 for 14 from beyond the arc. Miami will need to shoot better from three on Friday to knot the series at two games apiece.
