Friday gives us 10 games but only 8 are on FanDuel's main slate for NBA DFS, which starts at 7:30 p.m. ET. In this piece, we'll focus on those eight games and look at some of today's best bets -- including player props -- as well as the top NBA DFS plays of the slate.

NBA Best Bets
Detroit Pistons at Indiana Pacers
Over 246.5 Points (-110)
Indiana Pacers' games have been track meets this season. Indiana is scoring the most points per game (128.3) while giving up the most points per game (126.4). Oddsmakers have somewhat adjusted, but with 13 of the Pacers' 14 games going over the listed total, the market hasn't adjusted enough.
Indiana games average 254.7 points, and with the Detroit Pistons ranking 11th in pace and 21st in defensive rating, we should see another high-scoring affair. The over has won out in 9 of the Pistons' 15 games, so they've been an over-friendly squad, too.
While 247 points is a lot, the over is where I'll be.
Washington Wizards at Milwaukee Bucks
Bucks -13.0 (-110)
This is a matchup of one of the NBA's best teams against one of the league's worst teams, and the 13.0-point spread reflects that.
The Milwaukee Bucks are starting to figure things out with Damian Lillard. They'd won five in a row prior to a loss at the Boston Celtics last time out. In that five-game run, Milwaukee faced two teams that sit in the bottom four in net rating -- the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards -- and easily defeated both, besting the Wiz by 13 and Hornets by 31. Both of those games were on the road, too.
Tonight, the Bucks see the Wiz again, this time in Milwaukee. The Bucks have been superb at home this year, going 6-1. Washington has been bad everywhere, especially on the road, posting a 1-7 record in the split. The Wizards have played three road games against sides ranked in the top 13 of net rating, and they've dropped all three contests by an average of 16.0 points per game.
Give me Dame, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks to rout Washington by 14-plus.
NBA Prop Bets
Myles Turner Over 1.5 Made Threes (+116)
The Pistons are a nice matchup for Myles Turner to get busy from three. The Pistons permit centers to make 1.4 treys per night, the fifth-most.
Turner is taking 4.4 three-point shots per game, which ties for a career-high number. He's dropped in multiple threes in only one of his past four games but hit exactly four three-balls in each of the two games prior to this most recent stretch.
As we laid out above, this is going to be a high-scoring, fast-paced game (246.5-point total).
Once you add in the +116 odds, I think there are a lot of reasons to be excited about this bet.
Brook Lopez Under 1.5 Made Threes (-132)
The Wizards aren't good at much, but they're oddly great at limiting opposing big men from hitting threes.
On the year, Washington is allowing just 2.4 three-point tries per night to centers, and centers are averaging just 0.7 made treys per game against them.
Brook Lopez has hit multiple trifectas in only one of his past five games, including a 1-for-4 effort from deep against Washington in that span.
On top of all that, there's gobs of blowout risk in this one (13.0-point spread), so Lopez could see reduced minutes.
NBA DFS Picks
Guards
Tyrese Haliburton ($10,600) -- Tyrese Haliburton has benefitted greatly from the Pacers' playing style, and it's resulted in some huge fantasy outings, with Haliburton producing at least 60.0 FanDuel points in five of his last nine games, including outputs of 60.6 and 70.3 over his past two. While there's some blowout risk against Detroit with the spread at 9.0, Haliburton can break the slate if he gets his full minutes.
Stephen Curry ($8,900) -- Stephen Curry fits into a similar bucket as Haliburton as there's blowout risk but also lots of upside. Steph and the Golden State Warriors are up against the San Antonio Spurs, a squad that is 26th in defensive rating and 4th in pace. Curry has underwhelmed in DFS this year, topping 40.0 FanDuel points just once since November 3rd. I'm hoping his meh results coupled with the blowout risk (spread is 10.5 points) keeps people away.
Cade Cunningham ($7,700) -- Cade Cunningham is a nice stacking partner alongside Haliburton. The Pistons' star has been really good this year -- fresh off an outburst of 49.9 FanDuel points -- and offers plenty of upside against Indiana. The Pacers are as fantasy-friendly of a matchup as there is. numberFire's model projects Cunningham for 39.3 FanDuel points (5.11 per $1,000).
Wings
Anthony Edwards ($9,000) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves-Sacramento Kings clash is a nice one for DFS as it's got a 229.5-point total and 4.5-point spread. Of the games with a total above 226.0 points, it's the only one with a spread closer than 9.0 points. The Kings have surrendered the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to small forwards (44.2), and Anthony Edwards has played at least 35 minutes in five of the past seven games.
Buddy Hield ($5,000) -- Buddy Hield has started in each of the last two games and has produced 48.9 and 26.9 FanDuel points in them while playing an average of 32.5 minutes. That's tough to turn down at this salary in what should be a shootout against the Pistons. numberFire has him scoring 31.8 FanDuel points -- a whopping 6.37 per $1,000.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker ($4,200) -- Nickeil Alexander-Walker is another viable value target. NAW is expected to start with Jaden McDaniels sidelined. The aforementioned high total and close spread in the Wolves-Pels game should give him ample opportunity to put up solid numbers at a low salary.
Bigs
Nikola Jokic ($12,500) -- Nikola Jokic is Nikola Jokic. He's in play every time he's on a slate, and he reminded us of his crazy upside with a 77.6-FanDuel-point showing last time out. On paper, the Houston Rockets are a difficult matchup, but Jokic torched them for 77.7 FanDuel points on November 12th.
Victor Wembanyama ($8,700) -- The Warriors have struggled against centers, giving up the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to the position (57.9). That puts Victor Wembanyama in a great spot tonight. Wemby has insane blocks/steals upside and has generated at least 54.5 FanDuel points in two of his last three appearances. If this game stays competitive, the star rookie can go off. He's a fun stacking partner with Steph.
Jakob Poeltl ($6,300) -- Center is pretty stout on this slate, which will likely cause Jakob Poeltl to go overlooked. I like his chances of having a big night in a soft matchup with the Chicago Bulls, a team that has given up the sixth-most FanDuel points per night to centers (57.5). I'm also intrigued by Nikola Vucevic ($7,500) on the other side of his game.
