Brandon Nimmo on Mets bench Wednesday

The left-handed hitting Nimmo was in the last six lineups against southpaws, but the Mets will give him the day off after he went 3-for-18 with 9 strikeouts over the last four games. Tyrone Taylor will replace Nimmo in left field and bat sixth on Wednesday. J.D. Martinez will move up a spot and bat third for the Mets.
