Alec Burleson absent again Monday for Cardinals

The left-handed hitting Burleson will remain on the bench as the Cardinals take on a lefty pitcher in a second consecutive contest. Ivan Herrera will start at designated hitter and bat sixth on Monday. Brendan Donovan will start in left field and bat seventh, while Lars Nootbaar will man the other outfield corner and hit ninth.
