Sam Long Placed On 15 Day Injured List With Elbow Injury

Sam Long has appeared in seven games this season for the Kansas City Royals. He has a 12.86 ERA and a WHIP of 2.43 over seven innings pitched. Long has recorded six strikeouts and five walks so far.

Before being placed on the injured list, Long had two losses without any wins or saves. He last pitched in early April against the Cleveland Guardians. The Royals will face the New York Yankees next at home on June 10.
