Mariners place Jorge Polanco (hamstring) on 10-day IL

Polanco has been having a slow start to the season and will now rest up on the 10-day injured list after picking up a hamstring injury. The team called up Ryan Bliss from Triple-A in a corresponding move, and will have the 24-year-old make his Majors debut at second base in tonight's game against the Houston Astros.

The longtime Twins infielder has struggled in his first season with the Mariners, batting just .195 with 5 home runs, 15 runs, 14 RBI, and a .595 OPS across 181 plate appearances. Hopefully his stint on the injured list will help him get back on track at the plate.
