Carlos Correa Expected to Play for Minnesota Twins Despite Day-to-Day Injury Status

Carlos Correa has been dealing with multiple injuries this season. Earlier, he faced a wrist injury in April, which put him on a day-to-day status. Now, with the current undisclosed injury, he is expected to play against the Baltimore Orioles on May 14, 2025, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Correa's performance has been steady, with a .231 batting average over 39 games this season. In the last 15 games, he has maintained a .304 average. If Correa misses any time, Willi Castro, who is batting .221, might fill in at shortstop. Brooks Lee is another option, currently hitting .253.
