REZINATE (4) failed to cop the heavy track at Hawera nearly 5 weeks ago, and he will find the surface here more to his liking. Stepping out to a middle distance for the first time will help him, and despite a wide gate, he is the one to beat for us. NATURE'S BEAUTY (10) has yet to fire in 2 starts to date, but the rise to a middle distance for the first time is the key here. A better effort is expected, so stick with her in a modest field. ERASE (1) has the best recent form of any in this, and he has just needed time to mature as a rising 6YO gelding. A good gate helps, and he was placed over 1 5/16m at Tauranga in early February. Each way. NAUGHTY GRANNIE (12) has some market support last time out over 1m, and though she did nothing that day, she is bred to relish the longer journey here. She can make amends. Watch closely. GALWAY LASS (8) has put in a couple of decent runs this prep, and the extra 2f is ideal. Her first top 3 finish is not far away.
