SOUTHERN CRESCENT (6) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 5 ½f at Warrnambool, making it two minor placings in a row. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. DOBKINS (8) finished second last start over 6f at Warrnambool, beaten a nose by a rival here in The Kill Club. This is a more suitable contest and can take this out. ALLINTHETIMING (2) has been kept fresh since picking up a minor prize over 6 ¾f at Donald. Should be right up to the mark after a recent Ararat trial. Rates highly and is among the main hopes. THE KILL CLUB (10) was a gutsy winner at Warrnambool over the Carnival and there's no reason he can't give them something to catch again. SACRAMENTAL (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 11th over 6f at Seymour but looks well-placed here and can fill a top-three spot.
