Verdict

The first of a couple of BM52s on the card and the emergencies look to be the testing material. OLIVIA'S SCANDAL (15) went around in a 0-62 at Donald last time and was far from disgraced when beaten 3-3/4 lengths. She placed at her previous five runs, including a long neck second at Warracknabeal three back, a repeat of which would go very close here. FIRST FIFTEEN (16) looked set to race through the grades after a lovely fresh win but has been poor at her past two. This is the right race to get her back into form. ZAMORA (1) went close first-up after trialling well, so he's obviously come back well and draws to get every chance here. RAIN LORD (5) is hard to have off the last run, but the two earlier runs this prep were encouraging and he just needs luck from the draw. LONG LOST FRIEND (3) is a recent Camperdown trial winner who has a win and two placings from six first-up runs, so a big run would not shock.
