Comes out of a decent rating contest second-up when seventh over 7f at Flemington with the apprentice aboard. Gets the right set-up today with the winkers going on. Ready to win. CROSSBOW (8) comes out a solid race when fifth to Nobler over 1m at Randwick. Was a month between runs on that occasion and Nobler won again last Saturday. Leading contender. UNIQUE AMBITION (9) sat off the fast tempo and launched late down the outside with a sound victory over 7f at Randwick in Midway grade. Placed at the track and hard to ignore in this vein of form. EMIRATE (5) dropped back in trip with a respectable eighth over 6f at Randwick in a fast run contest. Out to his right trip today and look for him savaging the line.
