BURGUNDY GIRL (3) has been taking on better races than this with a couple of decent performances thrown in, the pick being her 2.5 length sixth in the Listed Canberra Cup three back. Not badly treated on 56.5kgs and in this company looks the one to beat. INSTEAD (5) added to her long run of top three finishes when third over 7 ¼f at Muswellbrook last time out. Has raced six times over the mile for a win and four placings. Drawn to enjoy the run of the race so there is plenty to like about her prospects. STOCKHOLM (8) led and just failed to hang on recently in open company over 6 ½f at Narromine. Will handle the mile without any problems. Sure to be prominent for a long way. GREEN RUN (6) was excellent two back when runner-up in the Orange Cup over this distance. A repeat of that effort gives him an undeniable chance.
