Verdict

TOKYO QUEEN (7) finally struck form last start at the fourth run of her campaign, taking over mid-race then defying all challengers in a Class 1 over 1 ?m at Bathurst. Meets a better field this time but drops 2kgs after the claim. Won't mind coming back to the mile and looks a huge chance to go back-to-back. WEST HEAD (1) raced up on the speed and didn't shirk his task last time out at Hawkesbury, beaten just 1.5 lengths in a Class 2 over 7 ½f. The winner of two races to date, both at the mile. Ready to peak after two runs back from a break. ZIGGY ROSE (3) produced an eye-catcher when fresh from a spell recently over 7f at Wagga. Gave away a big start on straightening that day but narrowed the gap to less than two lengths. Hard to hold out over the extra 1f. STRASSMAN (6) is going through his grades nicely. Drops 3kgs on his latest win. Cannot be underestimated.
