CHE OLE (8) went extra well first-up over this distance at Hawkesbury then blew the start as a $1.55 favourite at Bathurst last time and missed the placings. Trialled satisfactorily since - if she is clean out of the gates she poses a serious threat. COSMIC EAGLE (9) was 38 days between runs when a close third over 6 ¼f at Newcastle recently. Perfectly drawn and has the talent to test this line-up. YESZEM (14) has been within a length of the winner at both runs this time in work, most recently when beaten a length over 6 ½f at Kembla. Nicely placed to go one better. Love how CAPTAINTHUNDERBOLT (1) has narrowed his beaten margin with each career outing. Holds value appeal.
