ONETANGI GIRL (2) has yet to miss the top-three since switching from New Zealand including a Newcastle win at her Australian debut and a good effort there last time when beaten only 2m from a back row draw. Big chance from a favourable barrier. CAPTAIN GROOVE (4) won the only time she raced at this circuit last month and was good in her latest appearance at Newcastle, coming from a wider barrier for a 1.2 metre second to Onetangi Girl. Has strong claims. REASONABLY SWEET (1) broke the maiden here last week and the inside draw gives her the chance to take the next step. SAN SABA (9) is open to improvement second-up.
