LOCH LOMOND (6) was very good when second last time out, beaten a head in a nice return to form at Globe Derby. The last time he raced at this venue he scored a win over this distance. Could do it again. The recent form of JAKES SPORTWRITER (2) doesn't leap off the page but he has been coming from wide or second row barriers. Could be a big improver from a more favourable draw. ALAKAZAM (7) generally runs well here and looks close to a win following back-to-back placings. R ELEVEN ART (3) draws well and is in the mix following a fourth at his most recent appearance at Globe Derby.
