Verdict

NOT WRITTEN OFF (7) raced handy then showed plenty of fight but found the winner a shade too good when resuming in a BM66 over this distance at Muswellbrook last start. Drops 5.5kgs after the claim in this tougher race. Good second-up performer who just needs luck from a wide alley to be right in the finish. HELLCIBELL (6) has been about the money at both runs this prep, most recently behind the promising Golden Straand over 5 ½f at Hawkesbury. Usually peaks third-up and she will find this a little easier. SARATOGA POWER (3) chalked up a fourth 5f win when he took out a BM82 at Muswellbrook five weeks ago. Has his share of weight and the gap between runs is a query but his best form measures right up. The speedy CHANDON STAR (4) has been nailed late in his last couple so coming back in trip looks a good move. RHYTHM IS A DANCER (2) resumes. Has a few things against him but his class will go a long way.
