ARAPAWA (4) went around at $1.28 in a similar race to this at Muswellbrook two back and was defeated in a boil-over. Fair effort subsequently in better company over 6 ½f at Scone. Cherry ripe and from a nice draw gets his chance at redemption. Lightly raced filly INDI SPRINGS (6) returned with a very soft all-the-way maiden win two back at Bathurst then tried to repeat the feat but found one better at the end of 6f at Quirindi last time out. Still progressing and is sure to take plenty of catching. WATER LAD (3) last raced 45 days ago when he tailed off over 6 ¼f at Taree. Can improve sharply while fresh with a couple of key gear changes. TRUMPTY DUMPTY (5) has hit the line well in his two runs this prep, both over 5 ½f. Back in class today and nicely placed over a bit more ground. MAGIC FLYER (2) did his best work late when resuming over 5f at Tamworth last start. Can play a key role with that run under his belt.
