OUTLAW ANNIE (8) was a touch disappointing first-up at Gilgandra then made amends with a comfortable win as favourite in a 5f Orange maiden last start. Speedy filly who won't mind coming back in trip and can run them off their legs again. MAXANDUS (1) led all the way and won with plenty to spare first-up in a Scone maiden over 5f. Couldn't lead last time and weakened out of the contest at Tamworth. Lightly raced gelding who can put that last run behind him. INVINCIBLE PHANTOM (10) returned from a brief spell with an effortless maiden win over 5f at Gilgandra recently, defeating Outlaw Annie. Back in better shape this prep and can go on with the job. OUR EMILY (11) is first-up from a three-month lay-off. Has placed over 4 ½f before and should run a big race while fresh with the aid of the inside alley. ZAIBATSU (9) is worth including in exotics off a 38-day let-up.
