Verdict

ELITE POWER (2) is a backmarker who made late ground but gave away too much start in a similar race to this at Dubbo last Monday. Gets in nicely after the claim for Jacob Stiff and will be hard to hold out. QUESTIONABLE (10) won her maiden over the mile at Tamworth two runs back then struggled when tested over 1 ³/16m at Armidale last start. Lightly raced mare who can return to form over this more suitable journey. SEA ME DANCE (11) did her best work late to get up for second in a small field over this distance at Taree recently. Deep into her prep but continues to perform well. Hard to leave her out of calculations. MR CHIPS (3) was 37 days between runs when a close second over 7 ½f at Inverell last start. On trial at this distance but gives every indication he will run it out. FIERCE LUVA (6) is a son of the former top filly Luvaluva who won on debut recently at Parkes. Gets out over an extra furlong today which is a plus. Can feature again.
