Fantasy Football: 3 Quarterback Streamer Options for Week 14

Streaming quarterbacks remains an integral part of fantasy football for those who were willing to wait on the position in favor of loading up their lineups in drafts.

It's not always the preferred option as putting top-shelf guys in your lineup and forgetting it is always nice, but you can get some great value on the waiver wire each week to start at the position, keeping you competitive on a week-to-week basis.

Whether it's 10-team or 12-team leagues, there's going to be options out there to choose from.

When it comes to streaming a quarterback, there are multiple factors in play with none being more important than the defense they're opposing. From there, you can look at the situation they're in, what they've been doing as of late, and more. All of this matters -- especially when you're trying to find points at the most important position in football.

We've made it to the final weeks of bye weeks and for many leagues, we're one week out from the playoffs! Here are the top quarterback streamers to help earn you another victory.

Week 14 Quarterback Streamers

Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings

Week 14 Opponent: Las Vegas Raiders

Things weren't great for Joshua Dobbs the last time we saw him, but coming off the bye, he should be able to get back on track.

Dobbs has averaged 19.1 fantasy points since joining the Minnesota Vikings at the trade deadline. His efforts, however, hit a roadblock after throwing four interceptions against a suspect Chicago Bears secondary on Monday Night Football in Week 12.

While Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell hasn't confirmed Dobbs is the starter for Week 14 as of yet, he likely gets at least one more shot at the helm. The exciting news regarding Dobbs' prospects is that Justin Jefferson is expected to suit up for the first time since Week 5. With one of football's premier receivers back on the field, it should lead to much better success for Dobbs than what we saw two weeks ago.

Dobbs and the Vikings will be facing off with the Las Vegas Raiders. Las Vegas hasn't been an easy opponent for quarterbacks -- passers are just averaging 15.0 fantasy points against them -- but Dobbs should be able to use his legs to make up for anything that may not come through the air.

Considering Dobbs has two 24-point games to his name as a member of the Vikings, he should be able to reach his average on the season (17.2) at the very least.

Gardner Minshew, Indianapolis Colts

Week 14 Opponent: Cincinnati Bengals

It's not always pretty, but Gardner Minshew continues to get it done for the 7-5 Indianapolis Colts.

Minshew is coming off the second-best outing of the season in Week 13, finishing with 312 passing yards and 2 touchdowns -- including the game-winner in overtime to defeat the Tennessee Titans. The Colts' quarterback finished with 18.7 fantasy points, the 10th-most in Week 13. Not bad for a guy who is on the waiver wire in most leagues, which is why we are streaming him if available.

Minshew has totaled four games of 15 or more fantasy points since taking over for Anthony Richardson. He's actually done it in back-to-back games after the bye, which could show a sign of him understanding the offense a bit more.

There's a plus matchup via the Cincinnati Bengals this upcoming weekend, making Minshew worthy of consideration. The Bengals haven't played their Week 13 game as of this writing, but they've been giving up 16.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks through their first 11 games.

After the injury to Joe Burrow, the offense of the Bengals hasn't been able to keep the defense off the field as consistently. It leaves them tired, giving other offenses opportunities to succeed.

The Bengals allow the sixth-most passing yards per game (264.8). We saw Kenny Pickett of all quarterbacks throw for 278 yards in Week 12, so Minshew should be able to carve up Cincinnati with no problem.

Joe Flacco, Cleveland Browns

Week 14 Opponent: Jacksonville Jaguars

Joe Flacco wasn't on an NFL field for more than half this season, but after stepping up for the Cleveland Browns in Week 13, he showed there's still some gas left in the tank.

With Dorian Thompson-Robinson out due to the concussion protocol, Flacco filled in. His arm looked lively, having plenty of zip on the ball and still having the ability to throw deep. Flacco finished with 254 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception, good for 17.2 fantasy points, ranking 11th. Had Amari Cooper not been injured, he may have had an even better day.

Thompson-Robinson remains in concussion protocol, and after Flacco's Week 13 performance, there's a good chance that the quarterback proved he gives the Browns the best chance to win as they remain in the playoff hunt at 7-5.

If he does start, he has a great matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jacksonville hasn't played in Week 13 yet, but they are allowing the third-most fantasy points to the quarterback position, an average of 19.5 points per game. Flacco isn't going to light up the scoreboard or hit a high that other quarterbacks can. He can, however, give a lift for any quarterback-needy teams in Week 14.

If it's a 12-team or more league, Flacco is worth considering if he gets the start.
