Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy baseball on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.

Utilizing our projections -- which are powered by numberFire -- as a guide, here are some MLB player props bets that look appealing via the MLB odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

MLB Player Props

Cody Bellinger to Record an RBI (-105)

The battle of Chicago continues on Wednesday, and the Chicago Cubs are in a good spot.

The Cubs won last night and scored seven runs. That was a game to target for offense because of the wind blowing out at Wrigley Field, and that will be the case again tonight.

So, we'll go with Cody Bellinger to get an RBI. Bellinger isn't having his best season, but he has been better lately. Since the calendar flipped to May, he has a wOBA of .351 and a wRC+ of 130.

He will start off facing Erick Fedde for the Chicago White Sox. Fedde hasn't been terrible this season but is due for some regression. Both his BABIP (.272) and strand rate (81.0%) should get worse. His overall strikeout rate is respectable at 22.8%, but he has a meager 7.8% swinging-strike rate.

If the Cubs are able to get Fedde out of the game early, that will benefit both the Cubbies and Bellinger as the White Sox have the fifth-highest bullpen ERA in baseball.

With the Cubs having an implied team total above five runs, I like Bellinger to get an RBI in this game.

Ryan O'Hearn to Record an RBI (+160)

The Baltimore Orioles are one of the best offenses in baseball and are a team we should look to target for hitting props on most nights.

Tonight, we'll look at Ryan O'Hearn. He's having a very good season -- on pace for the best of his career -- with a 124 wRC+ and .340 wOBA. His expected wOBA (xwOBA) is actually way better, coming in at .384.

O'Hearn is particularly dangerous against right-handed pitchers. His wRC+ goes up to 135 in the split, and his wOBA is up at .356.

Tonight, he will face Jose Berrios, who is a good pitcher to target with lefties. Berrios has allowed a .192 ISO to left-handed batters as well as a 46.6% fly-ball rate.

With O'Hearn hitting in the heart of a dangerous Orioles' lineup, I like his chances of driving in a run tonight.

Corey Seager to Record 2+ Total Bases (-120)

Corey Seager had an excellent season last year and helped lead the Texas Rangers to the World Series title. He's having another good season and is in a great spot tonight.

Seager's wOBA is a stout .356 on the season, but he's underperforming his xwOBA of .394. He's also making a lot of hard contact, barreling the ball 15.5% of the time. That should lead to extra-base hits, which would help us cash this bet.

Tonight, Kenta Maeda will be on the mound against Seager. The 36-year-old Maeda appears to be at the end of the line. He has a 4.78 SIERA with a 10.6% barrel rate. Against lefties, he's allowed a 50.0% fly-ball rate and a .210 ISO.

Seager has destroyed right-handed pitching this season, posting a .398 wOBA and .246 ISO with the platoon advantage. Playing in a nice hitter's park at Globe Life Field gives him a boost, and I see him recording at least two total bases in this game.
