3 FanDuel MLB DFS Value Plays for Tuesday 6/11/24

Finding low-salary production is one way to get a leg up on the competition in MLB DFS.

Here are some value plays to target on FanDuel for today's main slate.

MLB DFS Value Plays

Yusei Kikuchi, P, Toronto Blue Jays ($8,700)

A lot of things set up nicely for Yusei Kikuchi ($8,700) for tonight, that makes him worth rostering at his salary.

Kikuchi is having a nice season for the Toronto Blue Jays. His SIERA (3.47) and xFIP (3.30) are both career-bests. His strikeout rate is a solid 23.7%, and he has a career-low 5.0% walk rate.

Tonight, the Jays will face the Milwaukee Brewers. Milwaukee has the ninth-lowest wRC+ against left-handed pitching (96) and also strikes out at the eighth-highest rate (23.0%).

Being a small favorite in this game, Kikuchi has a good chance of picking up the win and giving us a solid outing for a salary that's definitely reasonable.

Robbie Grossman, OF, Texas Rangers ($2,400)

There aren't many people who will rush to roster Robbie Grossman ($2,400) on most nights, but tonight, it definitely makes sense to put him in lineups.

Grossman's numbers overall are nothing to write home about, but if you look at his splits against lefties, you'll understand why he's in play tonight. He has a .350 wOBA and 127 wRC+ against southpaws this season. He should get a good lineup spot tonight for the Texas Rangers against a struggling James Paxton.

Paxton has been dreadful this season with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has a SIERA and xFIP that are both above 5.00, and he's allowed a .351 wOBA to righties on the season.

For just $2,400, I like Grossman's chances of having success in this spot.

Miguel Andujar, 1B/OF, Oakland A's ($2,800)

We get a good opportunity for a middle-of-the-lineup hitter who can play multiple positions with Miguel Andujar ($2,800).

Andujar has been on fire this season, per a .355 wOBA and a 137 wRC+. Despite being right-handed, he's always been a better hitter against righties. His career .323 wOBA and .176 ISO are solid numbers against same-handed pitchers.

He will face a weak righty tonight in the form of Randy Vasquez. Vasquez has a 4.41 SIERA and has allowed opponents to barrel the ball 9.2% of the time. Right-handed hitters have a .209 ISO against him this season.

The Oakland Athletics have been a better offense than anticipated, and I like Andujar to have a good game in this matchup.
