Saquon Barkley came into the NFL with a whole lot of hype, and the explosive Penn State running back did not disappoint once he took the field, making NFL defenses look silly during his first two seasons.
One of those defenses was the rival Philadelphia Eagles. In a Week 6 game during his 2018 rookie season, Barkley caught a screen and went for 55 yards while seemingly making the Eagles' entire defense miss.
This is not an easy man to bring down once he gets moving. He has slippery agility and tremendous field vision as he jukes would-be Philadelphia tacklers from all angles before finally getting tripped up way downfield.
Barkley quickly became known for his elusiveness because of highlights like this one, as well as his never-ending reel of making players miss at the college level.
The New York Giants selected Barkley with the belief that he would play a long career for the franchise. Entering his age-23 season, hopefully Saquon is just getting started, with plenty more highlight plays to come in the Big Blue uniform.
