It's getting harder and harder to find high-upside tight ends to pick up off the waiver wire as the NFL season rolls on. Many of the rising stars at the position are beginning to graduate from being borderline plays to clear-cut starters.

Nevertheless, there are still a few names out there worth keeping an eye on. Here are the top-three streaming tight ends, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues, to target in Week 9.

1. Evan Engram (33% Rostered)

Tight end Evan Engram was featured on this list last week before he proceeded to haul in 3 of his 4 targets for 15 yards and 1 touchdown on Monday night. The New York Giant draws another favorable matchup in Week 9 going up against a Las Vegas Raiders' defense that is giving up the fourth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs this season. Engram has seen 17 targets over the last three weeks and has posted a career-high 69.7% catch percentage this season. He has become a reliable security blanket for quarterback Daniel Jones and his role on this offense warrants another start in fantasy football.

2. Tyler Conklin (25% Rostered)

This one simply comes down to the matchup at hand. The Minnesota Vikings are taking on a Baltimore Ravens' defense that has posted 10th-worst pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL. They are also allowing the most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs. That bodes well for Tyler Conklin, who has posted at least 57 receiving yards in each of the last two weeks. The fourth-year pro is averaging 11.0 yards per reception this season and is beginning to carve out a consistent role on the Vikings. He has TE1 upside this week and a great shot to score his second touchdown of the year.

3. Pat Freiermuth (11% Rostered)

Rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth has suddenly become a top target for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh. The former Penn State Nittany Lion has hauled in 11 of his 14 targets for 102 yards and 1 touchdown over his last two games. Veteran Eric Ebron was inactive in Week 8 due to a hamstring injury and his status remains up in the air moving forward. That gives Freiermuth an opportunity to replicate the 78% snap rate he posted last week. Facing the Chicago Bears is no easy task, but Freiermuth's touchdown upside (5 red zone targets) gives him streaming potential on Monday night.
