Three of the four defenses that scored over 15 fantasy points in Week 12 were also rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues.
Fantasy production for defenses is all about matchups and situation. That's why so many fantasy managers opt to lean heavily on the waiver wire and "stream" the position by readily adding and dropping defenses every week to find a new starter.
If you're one of those managers, The Duel is here to help with our top fantasy football streaming defenses for Week 13.

3. Miami Dolphins (vs NYG)
The Miami Dolphins are suddenly rolling. They absolutely embarrassed Cam Newton last week (earning 21 fantasy points in the process) and have averaged an absurd 15.8 fantasy points per game on their current win streak. They've eclipsed 17 in three of those four. While easy matchups have certainly helped with the success, they get another easy matchup this week. The New York Giants have allowed above-average fantasy production to opposing defenses this year, and Daniel Jones has been sacked multiple times in five of his last six games, also throwing 6 interceptions in that stretch.
2. Kansas City Chiefs (vs DEN)
The Kansas City Chiefs' defense may not be a good unit in the real world, but they can still offer some fantasy football upside. FanDuel Sportsbook has them as 10-point favorites over the Denver Broncos, and if they can get ahead early in this one that will force Denver to go pass-heavy — which translates to plenty of opportunities for sacks and interceptions. Teddy Bridgewater may be playing hurt here, which could really limit his mobility. That's bad news for a guy who has already been sacked 4-plus times in three of his las six games.
1. Minnesota Vikings (at DET)
The Lions have allowed the NFL's eighth most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses. They're scoring points on just 27.6% of their offensive drives (third-worst in the NFL). Pro Football Focus has them as a bottom-10 pass-blocking unit. There aren't many defenses that aren't viable in fantasy football when they're playing Detroit, and the Minnesota Vikings have plenty of appeal here. Their 28.1% pressure rate ranks No. 3 in the NFL, and they lead the league with 33 sacks. They notched 9 fantasy points the last time they played the Lions, and there's not much pointing to anything other than a repeat performance here.
