Saquon Barkley is probably the most talented running back in the league. He's got breakaway speed, hits the hole hard and is one of the best pass-catchers at the position. There's nothing this guy can't do.

Playing in sneaky talented New York Giants' offense, Barkley could be in for the best season of his career. He's a top-three pick in fantasy football leagues.

Saquon Barkley Fantasy Football Outlook

Barkley currently carries an average draft position (ADP) of RB2, per FantasyPros. Some might be a little hesitant given his down year in 2020, but Barkley is absolutely worth the No. 2 overall pick – regardless of format.

Despite missing three games, Barkley was the RB10 in PPR formats last year. He was the RB7 on a per-game basis, though. He's going much higher than that right now, but he was the RB1 as a rookie in 2018. Plus, the improvements to the offense could help him reach that mountaintop again.

After a surprisingly impressive rookie season, Daniel Jones looks primed for a year-two leap. The Giants also boast a deep skill-position group, with names like Golden Tate, Evan Engram, Sterling Sheppard and Darius Slayton. The addition of Andrew Thomas should also help solidify a lackluster O-Line.

If he stays healthy, Barkley is just too talented to finish outside of the top-three RBs, but he has legitimate RB1 upside to boot. We have him as the RB2 in our 2020 fantasy football rankings.
