10 weeks of the 2021 campaign are already in the books. The fantasy football playoff picture is starting to shape up, and bye weeks are here. You can't afford to waste any roster space.

Every waiver wire pickup is crucial at this stage, and knowing how to make roster space for those adds is key.

Week 11 Waiver Wire

You don't want to cut ties with high-upside players, but you also don't want duds hanging around taking up valuable bench space.

Fantasy Football Players to Drop

With that in mind, here are three players, all rostered in at least 50 percent of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues, that you can drop to make space for Week 11 wavier wire pickups.

1. Adrian Peterson, RB, Tennessee Titans

It's safe to say Adrian Peterson is not Derrick Henry. And through two weeks with the Tennessee Titans, he hasn't even managed an even passable Derrick Henry impression. Signed when NFL's leading rusher landed on IR, Peterson had the early opportunity to take the lead back job in Tennessee. He stumbled into 42 yards on 18 carries (2.3 yards per carry). Falling behind D'Onta Foreman on early downs and Jeremy McNichols on passing downs makes AP the odd man out.

2. Nyheim Hines, RB, Indianapolis Colts

It's a little confusing that Nyheim Hines is still rostered as widely as he is. A receiving specialist, his value is really limited to PPR leagues. And even in PPR leagues, he has eclipsed even 7 fantasy points just once in his last seven games. He has twice as many weeks on the season with fewer than five fantasy points (six) than with more than 7 (three).

3. Alex Collins, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Alex Collins' fantasy value was tied directly to the absence of Chris Carson. But even with Carson on the shelf, Collins has averaged just 5.2 fantasy points per game across his last three contests. It's still unclear when Carson will actually return, but at this point, it doesn't matter. Collins isn't offering any value even with Carson out, so you might as well get out ahead of the news and drop him now.
