Even though the St. Louis Blues benefitted from a controversial no-call in Game 5, the team defeated the Boston Bruins, 2-1, and are now just one victory away from winning the 2019 Stanley Cup. After the Game 5 victory, the Blues are now heavily favored to win the Stanley Cup, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Blues are available at -310 to be crowned NHL champions, while the Bruins are available at +235.

This is a pretty hefty shift from the opening lines, as the Bruins were actually favored to win the 2019 Stanley Cup ahead of Game 1 (-150). The Blues are also favored to win Game 6 (-125), though the Bruins are listed at +105, which suggests this could be a close contest.

Part of the reason the Blues have won back-to-back games in this series has been their defense, as St. Louis has held Boston to an average of just 1.5 goals per game over the last two contests. If the Bruins have any chance of coming back, they'll need to play like they did in Game 3, when Boston scored 7 goals.

While the Blues are currently pretty hefty favorites to win the 2019 Stanley Cup, it's never too late to rule out the Bruins.
