The revolving door in the Miami Dolphins backfield continues to spin. After returning from an injury to lead the backfield with 21 carries in Week 13, Myles Gaskin has landed on the COVID/Reserve list, meaning he won't play in Week 14.

That gives DeAndre Washington's fantasy outlook a huge boost, and makes him a great sleeper option as the fantasy football playoffs get underway in Week 14.

Gaskin joins Matt Breida and Salvon Ahmed on the shelf, leaving Washington as the team's clear-cut lead back for this week's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

DeAndre Washington Fantasy Outlook

Before sitting out himself with a hamstring injury in Week 13, Washington saw some really promising volume in Week 12. Even though Breida was playing and got 10 touches (Ahmed and Gaskin were out), Washington led the backfield with 18 opportunities (13 carries plus 5 targets), playing 48% of the team's offensive snaps.

This matchup isn't anything to be worried about either, as the Chiefs have allowed the 14th-most PPR fantasy points per game to opposing RBs this season.

If you're hurting for a waiver wire running back this week, nobody will give you a better shot at 15-20 touches than Washington — making him a terrific sleeper option for Week 14.
