The general buzz around the league right now is that the Minnesota Vikings had one of the NFL's best drafts in 2020, and a huge part of that was getting wide receiver Justin Jefferson at No. 22 overall.

The LSU stud immediately replaces Stefon Diggs on the outside, and at a much cheaper cap hit no less. Drafted just before Jefferson was Jalen Reagor, by the Philadelphia Eagles. The debate has already begun on whether or not the Eagles made a mistake with that pick as we turn to FanDuel Sportsbook for Offensive Rookie of the Year odds.

Justin Jefferson 2020 Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds

At +2800 a piece, neither Jefferson or Reagor has the edge in the odds, and both are being disrespected by this number as that has them with the 13th-best odds. Denzel Mims stands out as a surprise here with the New York Jets, the Baylor product sits at +2000 odds, despite his low-second round draft status.

The odds for Jefferson don't really make sense. He is in an offense that can pass alongside Adam Thielen with very little weapons otherwise. Jefferson should immediately benefit from weaker coverages and get plenty of looks from quarterback Kirk Cousins, especially on short and intermediate routes.

With a 92.3 percent contested target catch rate in 2019, Jefferson dominated the college field of receivers in an LSU offense that steamrolled its competition. The Vikings wasted no time snatching him up once he fell to them. They wanted Jefferson, and this should be a mutually beneficial relationship moving forward.
