James Robinson Injury Update Could Boost Carlos Hyde Fantasy Outlook in Week 13

Jacksonville Jaguars No. 1 running back James Robinson has been dealing with a slew of injuries over the last month or so. While he's played through most of them, fantasy managers are now concerned about his Week 13 status following his latest injury update.
James Robinson Injury Update
After being a limited participant on Wednesday due to knee and heel injuries, Robinson did not practice at all on Thursday. Now, his prospects of playing against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend are up in the air.

If Robinson is forced to miss this week's game or beyond, Carlos Hydes' fantasy outlook should see a serious boost.
Carlos Hyde Fantasy Outlook
Hyde hasn't been much of a fantasy factor this season, entering Week 13 as RB69 in PPR formats. He's averaged 4.0 yards per touch for 287 total yards from scrimmage this season.
Still, it's hard not to like his potential as the starter. When Robinson sat out in Week 9, Hyde saw 21 carries and a pair of targets. He didn't accomplish much on that (73 total yards and a fumble), but it's important to note that he was up against a tough Buffalo Bills defense.
That time of volume looks attractive against a Rams defense that's giving up 20.1 fantasy points per game to running backs (T-16th). They're also giving up 4.4 rushing yards per attempt at home, which ranks 13th-highest in the NFL.
Even if the Jaguars are playing from behind, you won't find too many better options on the waiver wire than Hyde at this point in the season.
